Training & Safety
The UC Davis Fire Department maintains an exemplary training program that covers many of scenarios found on emergency scenes.
In addition to continued emergency medical service (EMS) training, the UC FD has conducted trainings in recreation pool emergencies, trench rescue, BSL3 Lab emergencies, active shooter (in coordination with the campus police department), and multi-casualty incidents.
The UCD FD also conducts several trainings every year with neighboring agencies, including City of Davis, City of Woodland, and City of West Sacramento.
