The UC Davis Fire Department offers free Hands-Only CPR courses to all current UC Davis students. Students may also choose to pursue certifications in Heartsaver AED, Stop the Bleed and First Aid for a fee.

Hands-Only CPR (free)
This introductory course is designed to cover the basics of Hands-Only CPR using compressions to provide critical, life-saving support for adults experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
Audience: Designed for anyone interested in achieving a basic level of life-saving knowledge to help when someone is in sudden cardiac arrest.
Eligibility
To participate in the free Hands-Only CPR course, you will need to:
- Be a current UC Davis Student
- Download the PulsePoint app for iOS/Android and follow UC Davis Fire in the app
- Register in advance
Course Location
UC Davis Campus Fire Station
- Hands-Only CPR is taught at the campus fire station, located just north of the Pavilion parking structure
