Who can get certified in First Aid?

UC Davis students, non-UC Davis students, staff, medical professionals, members of the public— everyone is welcome! There is no prior medical training required.

Free for UC Davis Students

You don't have to be a UC Davis student to get certified, but if you are you can take a free First Aid+CPR course offered by the UC Davis Fire Department. Must be a current student. No minimum amount of units required. Check out more free safety courses here

First Aid Course

$55 (free for UC Davis Students)
2 hours

This First Aid course teaches critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until EMS takes over. AHA HeartSaver First Aid eCard valid for 2 years.

First Aid and CPR Course

$130 (free for UC Davis students)
6.5 hours

In addition to First Aid, students will learn how to provide CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely and effective manner for all ages.  AHA HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED eCard valid for 2 years.
