EMT Refresher Skill Testing Course

This skills course is designed for licensed EMTs who are needing to recertify their EMT license in the State of California by verification of skills competency. This is an 8-hour in-person skills day. Participants must show competency through direct observation/testing in the following skills:

· Trauma Assessment

· Medical Assessment

· Bag-Valve-Mask Ventilation

· Oxygen Administration

· Cardiac Arrest Management with an AED

· Hemorrhage Control and Shock Management

· Spinal Motion Restriction – Supine and Seated

· Penetrating Chest Injury

· Epinephrine and Naloxone Administration

· Childbirth and Neonatal Resuscitation

· Glucometer Use.

Audience: Current EMTs needing to re-certify their EMT license in the State of California.

Time: 8 hours
