Come join us on the West Quad for the UC Davis Fire Department’s annual Fire Day, a campus-wide showcase of our Fire Suppression crews, EMS Department, and Fire Prevention division!

What’s happening on the Quad?

• Hands-on fire safety training: Learn how to properly use a fire extinguisher and brush up on essential fire safety tips.
• Hands-only CPR training: Get lifesaving skills directly from our EMS instructors.
• Turnout drill races: Suit up in full firefighter protective gear (PPE) and compete in a challenge against a student firefighter. Winners will take home a fire department T-shirt!
• Yard games with fire crews: Relax and have fun with our on-duty firefighters.
• Live demonstration: At noon, watch the T34 crew perform an auto-extrication demonstration on a vehicle.
