Course Description/Target Audience
This course is designed to prepare students to provide CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely and effective manner for adults, children and infants. This course also teaches Stop the Bleed, which covers current techniques used to control bleeding, including: tourniquet application, wound packing and the use of bleeding control kits. At the completion of the course participants will receive a Stop the Bleed Certification card.
Audience: Designed for anyone with little or no medical training who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Course Card: Upon successful completion students will receive an AHA HeartSaver CPR AED eCard valid for 2 years.
