Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is one of the leading causes of death in the U.S., affecting over 350,000 people outside of hospitals each year. 

The good news is that survival rates can triple when a bystander steps in to perform CPR and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is applied before emergency responders arrive.
