Meet Blythe!

Blythe grew up on Vashon Island, in the Puget Sound near Seattle and moved to California to attend Sacramento State College of Continuing Education for paramedic school. Before joining the Health 34 team, she served 16 years in the medical field; 7 years as an EMT and 9 years as a Paramedic. Blythe jumped at the chance to join Health 34 after witnessing the challenges that exist for first responders, especially surrounding mental health. Since joining the Health 34 team, she has enjoyed being able to connect with the students and is excited to evolve the program and learn what's helpful in the UC Davis community! In her free time, she enjoys climbing and snowboarding, as well as cooking, reading, and being social.
