EMT Refresher Skill Practice Course

This skills course is designed for licensed EMTs who are wanting to practice their EMT Skills prior to recertification skills testing.  This is an 8-hour in-person skills day.  Participants will be given the opportunity to practice the following skills.  

·       Trauma Assessment

·       Medical Assessment

·       Bag-Valve-Mask Ventilation

·       Oxygen Administration

·       Cardiac Arrest Management with an AED

·       Hemorrhage Control and Shock Management

·       Spinal Motion Restriction – Supine and Seated

·       Penetrating Chest Injury

·       Epinephrine and Naloxone Administration

·       Childbirth and Neonatal Resuscitation

·       Glucometer Use.

Audience: Current EMTs needing to recertify their EMT license in the State of California.
